The Ministry of Tourism focuses on improving the enabling environment for private sector growth and expansion developing and implementing a practice strategy for promoting investment providing business development.
The Ministry of Tourism welcomes investment from all investors who are bona fide. Investment opportunities are available in hotel development, yachting sector, manufacturing and agro processing, information and communication technology, retirement tourism, time share tourism, ancillary tourism services (dive, restaurants, golf, marinas).

Investments are also welcomed in any other areas that have the potential to add value, generate foreign exchange, and provide employment to Dominicans.
The Ministry facilitates and supports the development of new businesses and the expansion of existing ones. As part of its contribution to the development of these businesses the Government of Dominica provides a range of fiscal incentives to investors under legislation.
