As part of the activities for Tourism Awareness Month 2011, the Discover Dominica Authority will be presenting recognition awards in the following categories:
- Accommodation of the Year*
- Industry Employee of the Year
- Tour Operator of the Year*
- Tour Guide of the Year*
- Tourism Vendor of the Year*
- Tourism Taxi Service Provider of the Year*
- Community Tourism Development
- Responsible Tourism
*Only certified providers will be considered.

- Discover Dominica Authority Office at the Financial Centre
- Visitor Information Offices at Bay Front and
- the Melville Hall Airport and the DHTA Office on Castle Street.
The Annual Tourism Industry Awards serve as a forum to recognize those individuals, companies, and organizations that have demonstrated commitment to the development of tourism in Dominica. Nominations are invited from everyone so feel free to submit nominations for as many categories as you wish.
Deadline for receipt of nominations is Friday April 1, 2011. Awards will be presented during the Tourism Awareness Month Closing Ceremony on Tuesday May 31, 2011.
